People like to criticise Shopify and say it isn’t good for SEO. They are wrong. You simply need to know how the system works and adapt it.
One of the things Shopify does do is create duplicate product URL’s. Shopify deals with this by using a canonical tag but I like to avoid them in the first place to ensure there are fewer URL’s for Google to crawl.
